Chapter 16: A Bet
The fire blaring on the background, the heat could be felt all over. There is the neigh of horses, the red eyes of the fierce warriors and the spears, bows and arrows pointed toward that man
But there is not even a single shred of fear in the eyes of this man.
Garron was surprised.
He had seen many people. And he had seen many warriors. Some also look at death like their home, they did not fear it
But there is a certain madness to it. In the end, humans are humans.
While some tribe decided to think themselves as invincible when they fight in a battle, and they tore off any thought about death, they still know that they could die. So, when they fight for their life, there is a certain madness to it.
But this man has no madness in his eyes. There is confidence in those eyes. This is not a death road for him. That is what this person believes.
Garron always trusted his eyes. And he trusted his intuition. He looks around the area and see his dead warrior.
He did not feel much. Each warrior is ready to die in battle.
It is for his warriors and it is the same for him. It is something everyone understood.
'Who are you and why have you intruded this place? This is now the area of the Xewa tribe'
