Chapter 309: Vine Emperor(3)_1
Dugu Qianye placed an elixir into the jade bottle and directly fed it to Hao Pengyou, then waited for the poison to be slowly expelled from his body. Gradually, Hao Pengyou began to regain his senses.
"Rustle, rustle."
"Did you hear anything?" Dugu Qianye asked.
"It seems so." Zi Xiao said, then stood beside Dugu Qianye, alertly watching their surroundings. However, aside from some vines, they saw no Spiritual Beasts.
"Ah, how fragrant, it has been a long time since I last tasted human flesh." A hoarse voice echoed through the mountain ravine.
"Think you can eat us? We’ll see if you have the ability," Dugu Qianye said.
"I love eating human flesh the most, especially the flesh of women," the voice continued, but Dugu Qianye and the others still didn’t see any Spiritual Beasts.
"Those who wanted to eat me are now in hell; are you looking to keep them company down there?" Dugu Qianye said.
"Oh, really?" After the voice spoke, a vine attacked Dugu Qianye, who drew a longsword and sliced through it, cutting the vine directly in half.
The vine seemed to sound the signal for battle, as countless other vines surrounded them from three sides. They all drew their weapons, cutting incessantly, but it was as if the vines were endless—new ones extended toward them as soon as they chopped some down.
