Chapter 1600: Chapter 2023: Whisper
Ye Ranran ignored his cheeky expression.
The petal rain was a romantic theme launched inside the indoor garden. Under the trees covered in blossoms, couples either leaned against them or stood beneath, as petals fluttered down all around.
It was very romantic, very beautiful, just like a scene from a TV drama.
However, Ye Ranran wasn’t really fond of these things, always feeling they were superficial. But surprisingly, Jun Mochan and Jun Xiaobao, the big and the small one, were quite interested.
“Mommy, you and Daddy stand underneath, and I’ll sprinkle petals over you,” said Jun Xiaobao.
The sales staff nearby looked at Jun Xiaobao in amazement, “Little friend, that’s a great idea, you’re a genius.”
“I’m not a genius, I’m just a bit smarter than ordinary people.” Jun Xiaobao repeated what Jun Mochan had told him before.
But it was misunderstood as modesty.
Hearing the person praise Jun Xiaobao, Jun Mochan didn’t refute but kept nodding, as if in agreement.
“Mommy, take a photo, take a photo,” Jun Xiaobao paid no attention to the other person’s existence, shaking Ye Ranran’s hand.
Ye Ranran glanced at Jun Mochan and found him looking at her with a teasing smile. She quickly withdrew her gaze and nodded.
To ensure safety, there were two staff members hidden in the tree, with safety measures in place below.
Ye Ranran still felt uneasy, repeatedly looking up, “Are you sure nothing will go wrong?”
If something happened to Jun Xiaobao, she wouldn’t be able to live with herself.
“Don’t worry, even if he falls, I’ll catch him,” Jun Mochan wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
“I’m just afraid you won’t catch him,” Ye Ranran smirked.
But after hearing Jun Mochan say that, she felt much more at ease.
The two originally intended just to snap a simple photo, but Jun Xiaobao said, “Daddy, Mommy, make a heart shape! Don’t just stand there like two logs, that’s no fun.”
“Did you teach him these profound things?” Ye Ranran asked in a low voice, gripping Jun Mochan’s collar, implying that she might punch him if he answered yes.
Good things he doesn’t teach; bad things he does. What’s going to happen when he grows up?
“How could I have taught him that?” Jun Mochan pulled his collar back from Ye Ranran’s grasp.
“Daddy, Mommy, what secrets are you whispering behind my back?” Jun Xiaobao was displeased.
The onlookers who heard Jun Xiaobao’s words all burst into laughter and praised his cuteness.
“He’s usually cute, but not this time,” Ye Ranran muttered.
“Daddy, Mommy, quickly make a heart shape. It’s when you both raise your hands above your head, each forming half,” Jun Xiaobao explained, afraid they wouldn’t understand.
Who wants to make a gesture like that? Ye Ranran pursed her lips, “Baby, who taught you this?”
“No one taught me, I saw it on TV. Geez, stop dawdling, hurry up, I can’t wait,” Jun Xiaobao urged.
“When he’s idle, don’t let him watch TV,” Ye Ranran said before raising her hand.
“It wasn’t me who let him watch; it was Grandpa,” Jun Mochan felt wronged.
He doesn’t watch those silly dramas himself, so how could he let Jun Xiaobao watch them? It must have been Grandpa Jun who let him watch unbeknownst to him.
The two did as Jun Xiaobao requested, raising their hands above their heads, and Jun Xiaobao, sitting on the tree above them, scattered petals.
As the petals floated up, the photographer pressed the button, capturing the smile of all three in the photo.
Ye Ranran and Jun Mochan weren’t looking at the camera, but at each other, their sweetness almost spilling out of the picture.
