Chapter 371 - 367: I Can’t Handle Big Tycoons Like You (Part 5)
"Don’t..." Eva Miller gripped her shirt button tightly, looking up with some trepidation at the man she once desperately wanted to pounce on.
"What? Afraid now?" His face showed no emotion, yet his large hand didn’t leave her body. "If you can satisfy me, maybe I’ll consider making you my bed-partner."
Eva Miller’s body trembled slightly. At this moment, Oliver Johnson seemed so unfamiliar to her, so distant.
Yet, she didn’t know if it was because she was out of her mind, her hand slowly let go of the shirt, resting at her sides.
"Have you thought it through?"
She nodded in silence.
Oliver Johnson’s hand visibly hesitated for a moment due to her action, but his next move was to swiftly strip her clothes away.
He admitted, he was possessed today.

Eva Miller had thought it through, but he hadn’t. Half-closing his eyes, he watched as the woman’s face beneath him slowly overlapped with another woman, as if she was smiling at him, and he fell helplessly.
That woman, he probably would never have her in his lifetime.
His kisses landed on her face, tender enough to almost melt into water.
Kissed by him, Eva Miller became passionate, wrapping her arms around his neck to respond.
When she was mentally prepared, he entered her body.
Eva Miller furrowed her brow, her fingers gripping the white sheet tightly.
So, the first time wasn’t as pleasant as she imagined.
It hurt, feeling as if her whole body was about to fall apart.
...
When she woke up, she glanced out the window; the sky had already darkened.
The emptiness beside her only made her feel unreal, as if everything was just a fleeting cloud.
The maid entered the room without her consent, startling her greatly. She quickly ducked under the covers; she didn’t want to be seen naked by another woman.
"Miss Miller, Mr. Johnson asked me to prepare clothes for you." The maid placed a new set of clothes by the bed and then picked up the pile of messy clothes from the floor, putting them into the cart.
Eva Miller sat on the bed, lost for a moment.
"Miss Miller, the gentleman said, if you wake up, the driver will take you back."
So? What did this mean?
A one-night stand?
"I understand, I’ll change right away." Eva Miller was not the kind of small-minded person who clings to someone after sleeping with them once. She was, after all, a modern woman. She comforted herself in her heart, but tears fell uncontrollably down her face.
"Oh, right, Miss Miller, there’s one more thing." The maid suddenly remembered something, and handed her a glass of water with a few pills.
"The gentleman said he was in a hurry today and forgot to take safety precautions, so Miss Miller, sorry for the trouble. Please take the pills."
She bit her lip tightly, a strong taste of blood spreading in her mouth.
She took the glass and pills, and the maid turned and left without looking back, leaving only the sound of the door closing.
This time she truly degraded herself, gripping the glass as if she wanted to crush it to pieces.
She didn’t know how she left that house; her head leaned against the car window, both her body and heart were so exhausted.
With closed eyes, she couldn’t help but think of his face.
Sometimes gentle, sometimes wild. No matter which, it occupied her heart deeply.
