Chapter 1957 – Approaching the Late Game 5 – Further Through a Floor

The six tentacle arms of three Genius Squids stabbed the wielded lances at the onslaught of Claire’s Household. The swarm of bats parted around the attacks, individuals falling prey to the attack while the rest of them made the monsters their prey in turn. Although only level 25 each, the basketball sized flying foxes had just enough power to penetrate the skin of the squids. They drank from the ichor of the creatures, bit by bit chipping away at their lifeforce.

The squids lashed at the parasites covering them with their leg tendrils. Each strike turned several of the familiars into Bloodrivers, which were absorbed by other bats, gradually turning the swarm of low-levelled individuals into a few strong bats. An inefficient conversion, but one that prolonged the staying power of the swarm considerably. The blood drunk by the bats was passed onto their kin.

In the fight of squids against bats, the squids would have won eventually. It was unfortunate for the Genius Squids that the swarm was simply the distraction.

‘Ready?’ John asked mentally.

‘Always, Master,’ Claire responded reverently.

‘I’m prepared to stroke,’ Siena laughed.

‘Execute!’

On John’s mental command, the vampire and the midnight elemental combined their powers. A string of silver moonlight and the Blood Bend Skill combined on one target to force one of the trio of Genius Squids forwards, its shield twisted out of the way. Forcefully exposed like that, the creature had no defence to the Arc Lance that then ripped through the middle of its boneless head.

The other two creatures had to contend with additional bats and the vampire maid that charged into the gap. They attempted to further empower their pain-inducing skin patterns, but Siena’s shadow diminished that effect to an ignorable annoyance. Claire pierced one with her lance made of mana. A counterattack struck her in the back. An ultimately inconsequential wound, but it incensed John enough that he shot three Blast Rays at the creature all the same. The swarm of bats then sucked the remaining ichor out of it.

‘Another party down,’ John thought. “Another party down,” he repeated out loud, for the other two to hear. During combat, they naturally used mental communications first and foremost. Out of it, John preferred to use his voice for no other reason than he wanted to hear them speak in turn. Sharing feelings directly alongside words was a superior form of communication, yes, but the human experience thrived on conversation. At the very least, John had found it insufficient to purely communicate via mental connection.

He walked forwards. The spears that emerged from the floor had accelerated in their rate of forming as they had progressed, but were still easily outpaced by walking at a moderate pace.

“Think we will find the boss room soon?” Claire remained by his side. Her stride was of the normal character, but a woman of her bottom-heavy build would have needed to try to make the sway of her hips anything short of enticing. The design of her maid outfit did not help either. Every step revealed a juicy thigh, the pelvic curtain of her skirt shifting to the side to reveal white flesh and black straps and stockings.

‘I have excellent taste,’ the Gamer complimented himself. “Judging by the standard length of these Floor Dungeons and the path we have taken, we ought to get there soon.”

“Soon is now,” Siena informed them. The shadow spirit was invisible, yet John knew exactly where she was by other means.

Three corridors flowed together in a cross section, at which Siena stood. The angle made the fourth path the clear one forwards. The large stone door at its end made that fact undeniable.

Replacing the smooth mercury with stone tiles beneath their feet was a moment of relief. John glanced around to make sure nothing was about to stab him, then took the moment to relax his mental muscles. Unthreatening as they had been, being constantly aware of them still had been a drain.

“Well, no reason to dally,” he said. They had already spent close to three hours here.

John put both hands on the door and pushed. At first, there was a large amount of resistance. Then, the magical mechanics of the Instant Dungeon registered his attempt to enter and practically opened the gate on their own.

Behind was a square chamber. The ground consisted of tiles of mercury, set next to each other with only a miniscule gap to indicate the separation between them. The wall opposite of the party held another door, above it a tiny hole.

Once they entered the chamber proper and the gate had closed behind them, a tiny squid crawled out of that hole. Tendrils beat, loosening it from the stone wall, then continued to wiggle as if the air was the same as the ocean. It had a singular, large eye, glowing a bright red.

The colour intensified in a flash. The party dodged forwards, escaping the sudden laser blast that exploded into a kinetic wave upon impact with the ground. John used Magus Step to ensure he would land on a tile by the edge of the room.

The floor turned into needles instantly, making Particle Skin flash silver. John began to run, escaping the pillar of spears that appeared on the floor tile an instant later. He only had another mercury tile to move onto, forcing him to repeat that spiel.

Claire’s swarm of bats fluttered towards the boss. The squid moved at immense speed, effortlessly evading the swarm and then blasting most of it to hell with a singular ray. Siena leapt at it, her body clad in the darkness of her Unleashed state, but even she could not catch this Sylph-level speedy sea fruit.

‘I see how this is supposed to go,’ John thought, then sent out his orders, ‘Follow my movement instructions and focus on dodging.’

Claire and Siena leapt off the walls of the chamber, landing at other edge tiles. It took careful coordination for the three of them to trigger the tiles in the correct order, between those that Siena and Claire had accidentally triggered before their attacks and the blasts the boss still showered them with.

The pillars of spears, once created, did not go down. Bit by bit, they decreased the size of the chamber, making it easier for the boss to target them but also decreasing the space it had to dodge.

‘That should be enough,’ John thought and deployed an Unstable Arcana. The sphere pulsed once, the shockwave filling the entirety of the room that was left.

The tiny enemy squid let out a horrid screech, then darted towards the hole, easily escaping the Mana Chain that was automatically launched at it. The door beneath swung open. Siena, then Claire, then John all ran on through, emerging in a slightly larger room.

Once again, there were tiles. This time, a few of them had already been activated, complicating the pattern needed to box in the boss tremendously. The previously red squid pulsed blue now, scratching the back of John’s brain unpleasantly when he looked in its direction. ‘Siena, can you dim it?’

‘Not while I am moving, it is too fast for that.’

‘Claire, make a wolf that Siena can ride on.’

‘Your wish is my pleasure, my John,’ Claire trilled.

A great wolf of black fur and red trim appeared from the swirling energy of the vampire. Siena leapt onto its back before it had even finished consolidating, her deep blue thighs, partly clad in the swirling, latex-like material that covered her body so enticingly, pressed into the flanks of the animal. Both of her clawed hands executed esoteric gestures, blade-esque fingers consolidating shadows between them, mirroring the dimming light around the boss.

The wolf moved in accordance to Claire’s instructions, Claire according to John’s, and they filled this chamber like they had the first. The goal had to be to not just box in the boss, but to do so by the second door.

John had to Magus Step forwards, then immediately back to his original position to dodge a laser beam without throwing off the pattern. He was running, triggering the tiles as he advanced. It was a wonderfully basic game mechanic, to manipulate a room like this, and yet so appropriate for this level because of the danger the boss posed.

‘By standard design, the next room will be the last,’ he thought, just as he created another Unstable Arcana. Once again, the boss screamed, then retreated through a hole above the door. Once again, it opened and they followed on through.

The final chamber had no more tiles. The floor and ceiling was flowing mercury, reacting instantly to their presence. It was too bad for the boss that John decided that this was the point where he was going to demonstrate that he had outscaled the basic game mechanics.

A mental flip of the switch activated Purgatory’s Arcane Ascension. His left hand became the focal point of a bright silver, arcane glow as dozens of Arc Lances began to charge up simultaneously. John let them, running around the room for 100 seconds to let them reach the pinnacle of speed. They played it purely defensive during that time. The two side-eyes the boss had grown to bombard them with additional lasers were dodged easily enough. A basic boss like this did not require extreme competence to kill, only a lack of incompetence.

When the 100 seconds were up, John unleashed the barrage.

All of the charged Arc Lances cut through the air one after another, like a machine gun salvo of unstable crystals. The boss darted around the room, attempting to escape, but John had long since analysed its patterns. It always dodged in a specific kind of curve, one that he could easily draw with a swing of his arm. Where the burst of speed ended was where the Arc Lances struck the creature, mincing it in an instant.

“Wonderful.” John acted as if he had to dust off his hands, right after the Dungeon Clear notice appeared in front of him. Any Loot he might have gotten was in the Loot Basin now. He could check that out later.

“Gone are the excuses!” Claire declared, throwing herself at John. Her reddish-pink lips needfully pressed on his. Her radical enthusiasm had even him surprised for a brief moment, then his instinct kicked in. His lips parted, letting her greedy tongue invade, only for his own to push back and assume control. ‘Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine…’

The word repeated over and over in Claire’s mind, flooding John’s being with a fulfilment that was only trumped by hers. ‘It really must be interesting to have no limiters on emotions like that,’ he thought. What made Claire capable of loving so deeply also made her growl when he broke the kiss. “Behave,” he warned her.

“But you taste so gooooood,” Claire whined, trying to get another kiss out of him. “Master!” she shouted when she received a smack on the ass instead. His hand lingered after the impact, squeezing her plump backside.

“Back to the mansion, we have a schedule to keep,” he told the maid, then put his other arm around Siena. “And what do you want?”

“You owe me some time with your tongue,” the shadow spirit purred. When he bowed down to kiss her, she placed a finger on his lips. “No, I dictate what we’ll do and where you’ll kiss me.”

“I’ll allow it,” John whispered back, retaining some control even when submitting to the only truly dominant woman in his harem.

The three of them stepped out of the Gate of Light, only to be immediately met by a salivating sight. A truly perfect ass, balancing proportions so wonderfully with the long legs and slim waist south and north of its roundness, was displayed in all of its glory. The exceptionally tight fabric of minuscule yoga pants stretched over the taut twin hills. A camel toe was so clearly displayed that the only difference between the pussy being bare and covered was the colour. Rather than grey, the pants left the mons as a black shape that had John’s brain in its bane.

Lyndell was on her knees, her back curved, her chest on the yoga mat she had placed conspicuously in front of the one Gate of Light that John had used to enter this Dungeon. With tantalizing slowness, she changed from one yoga position to the other, really advertising her ass in cropped pants every second along the way.

The horned horny mushroom rolled onto her back, showing the tiny top she wore. It had no practical purpose besides emphasizing her tits in a creative fashion, leaving a window to her underboob that made even her medium-sized breasts look like they were made for tit fucking.

“This might be the most blatant attempt at seduction I have ever been the recipient of,” John said.

Lyndell pulled her knees to her shoulders, squishing her breasts between her legs and putting her pussy into an unignorably prominent position. Being watched had a clear effect on the state of her womanhood, blood rushing into the area to make it swell a bit more. It looked puffy and delicious. “Is it working?” New ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄhapters are published on 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡⚑𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚⚑𝙣𝙚𝙩

The Gamer groaned, feeling Siena’s hand on his cock. While he was distracted by Lyndell’s hourglass curves, the shadow spirit had stealthily dropped his pants. A sadistic grin on her face, she gripped his manhood tight, pumping the length of it with no compromise. He was dangerously close to the edge within moments.

Hastily, Claire moved in front of him. “You’re going to waste his precious cum!” The vampire maid slung one leg around his hips, one arm around his neck, and brushed her pelvic curtain aside with her free hand. Smoothly, while standing, she sheathed his manhood in her pussy.

Siena laughed huskily, a sound as worthy of a succubus as the way her tail had coiled around John’s leg. Her hand continued to pump his cock until he was all the way inside Claire’s tight, hot tunnel. His hands were still on both of their round asses. Claire had the bubble butt of a maid and Siena’s was plumper even than that. His tactile senses were dominated by squish. He did not manage to last a second longer.

“Yes,” he pressed out the answer to Lyndell’s question, just as his balls tightened. Claire cried out in lust, the sound muffling when she nibbled lovingly on his neck. The quick release did not bother her in the slightest. Every sound she made, every thought she had, was dominated by the thrill of being the receptacle for his seed and nothing else.

Lyndell bit her lower lip, following the entire scene with a growing damp spot between her legs. “I want you to take me.”

“Not yet,” John groaned. With that load out of him, he had just a bit of post-nut clarity. “Are you sure you should spend your time trying to convince me?”

“It’s a show as much for them as for you.” Lyndell loosened her position, her legs lazily flopping onto the yoga mat. The Gate of Light and the windows of the mansion were the greatest light sources in the lingering midnight of the time dilated place. “Want me to pose for you, Siena?”

“If only all women were so well-behaved,” Siena sighed.

“…Do you catch the irony of that statement?” John had to ask.

“I am not a simple woman, I am a dominatrix.” Her coiled tail squeezed John’s leg a little tighter. “I take pride in that.”

“As you should,” Lyndell agreed. “It’s attractive.”

‘This horny mushroom and her simple sincerity,’ John thought, while watching Siena’s smirk grow. ‘There is no way to keep her out… do I allow myself to indulge myself some more?’

‘No,’ the voice of a certain crocodile entered his mind. ‘Wait until the end of the week. Honour your own oaths.’

That was a fair enough restraint.

“Your seduction is working,” John reiterated and began to pull out of Claire. When the obsessed vampire’s leg clenched to push him right back in, he resigned himself to the horrible fate of carry-fucking her home. “Admittedly, I find your failure of obliging common sense charming.”

“Why would I understand common sense? You are not a common man,” Lyndell said and stood up. She grabbed the yoga mat and dragged it behind her as she walked with the three of them, too lazy to roll it up. “I like posing for you.”

“Have you considered dancing?” John asked. With the veil on her head and the corresponding one that she sometimes wore over her face, she was a quarter of the way to a harem outfit already. The idea of seeing the ancient entity belly dance was enticing even without that choice of garb.

“Not yet… I could do it for you,” Lyndell responded. “Would you recommend me to one who can teach me?”

That sounded like a nice break activity.
