Earth's Greatest Magus

Chapter 2639: Sacred Technique

The roar of the crowd was deafening. The tension in the arena had reached a fever pitch. All eyes turned to the center of the battlefield, where two figures now stood: Julian, Earth’s calm and calculating representative, and Zeus, god of thunder and son of Kronos himself.

Zeus raised a gesture of reverence to his father. From atop his golden throne, Kronos nodded in solemn approval.

"Let the battle begin!" shouted Hermes, his voice amplified across the coliseum.

Instantly, Zeus ascended into the sky. Thunder cracked. Lightning surged around him in an overwhelming tide of power. No longer just a deity of myth, Zeus embodied the essence of the storm. Unlike Poseidon or Ares, Zeus has reached the Grand Magus realm for almost a decade. His comprehension of the law of thunder has intertwined perfectly with the cosmic energy, forming an oppressive domain that crackled in the air like static before a storm.

Julian stood calmly, unflinching in the face of the divine pressure above him. In one measured motion, he brought forth a golden shield, heavy enough to shake the ground when it struck stone. With his other hand, he unsheathed a glowing sword from behind the shield—[Heaven’s Edge], a radiant tier-7 weapon. These were the two sets of Grade 7 artifacts that he earned through all his achievements in the Trial of Faith.

He whispered a prayer—silent, sacred.

A golden light burst from his back, forming into four magnificent wings. Feathers shimmered like molten gold as he activated his sacred Nephilim ability: [Angelic Descent].

From above, Zeus narrowed his eyes. "They let an outsider learn their sacred techniques?" he muttered with disdain. "What a waste."

A javelin of pure lightning formed in his hand, crackling and thrumming with enough energy to tear apart mountains. His voice echoed through the coliseum. "You’ve already lost. You just don’t know it yet."
