Chapter 661 - 644 Rebuilding the Factory
The head of Lu Jiaxin’s cosmetics company is named Ye Zhen, who was poached with a high salary by Lu Jiaxin from another cosmetics company. Initially, Ye Zhen refused because he thought Lu Jiaxin’s cosmetics company was too small and lacked distinctive products. It wasn’t until Lu Jiaxin showed him a few new products that she had tried and found to be good that he agreed to join. With strong funding, a bold leader, and improved traditional formulas, the company will certainly grow bigger and stronger.
After sending Lu Hongjun and others off on their flight, Lu Jiaxin went to the cosmetics company to discuss with Ye Zhen the future development of Yongjia Cosmetics. It was originally called Xiyi Cosmetics, but after acquisition, it was renamed Yongjia.
Lu Jiaxin said, "I plan to bring in a batch of the most advanced equipment. The factory of Yongjia Cosmetics is too small. It’s more cost-effective to buy a piece of land in the Mainland to build a factory. Shall we go investigate this week?"
Building factories in the Mainland has become a trend, as prices, land prices, and labor are all very cheap. Ye Zhen asked, "Boss, how large a piece of land are you planning to buy this time?"
Lu Jiaxin naturally meant the more, the better: "My goal is to make Wanjia Cosmetics the largest cosmetics company in both Hong Kong and the Mainland. So the larger the land, the better, thus we won’t need to buy additional land when expanding in the future."
Ye Zhen had personally used some of these products and found their results comparable to major brands. He nodded and said, "I’ll head over to Hong Kong for inspection the day after tomorrow."
To set up a factory in the Mainland isn’t something that can be decided with just a few words. One must go there to investigate and, after finding a suitable site, communicate with the local government.
The two talked for half a day, and it was only when it was time for lunch that Lu Jiaxin left. As for Ye Zhen, he ate the working lunch at the company. Having been a salaryman who often had irregular meals and always ordered takeout, after becoming a boss, Lu Jiaxin provided free lunches for the company’s employees. This benefit was very much appreciated by the staff.
For lunch, Lu Jiaxin had arranged to meet Zong Shimeng at Fuyun Restaurant. This meeting wasn’t for shopping but for discussing supply matters.
Zong Shimeng’s beauty salon had already been renovated and was scheduled to open next month: "The sample products you gave me, I had someone try them, and the effect was excellent. Especially the medicinal bath, it made the skin smooth and delicate and even improved sleep."
