Lu Jiaxin watched the news for a while before returning to her room to write a screenplay. She was writing the screenplay for "Gambling God 2".
In her previous life, "Gambling God 2" had taken several years to come out, which showed that the screenplay had been polished for a long time. She couldn’t trust Wang Sanri to produce a script that quickly.
A good screenplay needs both a skilled director and capable actors to make a film worth watching. Otherwise, even with a high-level director and talented actors, the film could still be a flop. She didn’t want to ruin a classic movie because of her own actions.
Since she was merely transcribing what was in her memory, the process was quick. She had written half of it two days before, and today she planned to finish it, and then ponder over the sequel to "Legally Blonde". Sigh, handwriting is too slow. She really missed her laptop. There was a typewriter installed at home, but she wasn’t used to it, and it was hard on her hands.
When dinner time arrived, Lu Jiaxin washed her face and went out.
The dinner dishes were half what Lu Jiaxin liked and half what Zong Shimeng liked. Hosting a guest would of course call for the highest standard, and the chefs had been brought in from top hotels. They could skimp on anything but the quality of the food.
After dinner, the two of them took a walk around the estate. When they got to the back garden and saw the colorful array of flowers, Zong Shimeng was thoroughly enamored. She said, "Jiaxin, in a few days, I want to bring the three kids to stay here for a while."
Lu Jiaxin replied with a smile, "Of course you can! If you’re bringing the kids, I’ll have the second compound cleaned up for you and the kids to stay in."
