Ruan Xue nodded grimly, hung up the phone, then patted her bitter gourd-like face and walked out of the restroom.
In the lobby of the coffee shop, where An Yiqing was sitting, Duan Tang was still sipping the mango pudding An Yiqing had given him, making Ruan Xue’s temples throb.
Striding forward, Ruan Xue stretched out her hand, snatched the plate from Duan Tang’s hand, and pulled it towards herself.
"Ha, hahaha! I suddenly felt like having some pudding, Duan Tang bro, you don’t mind, do you?" Ruan Xue said, laughing awkwardly as she looked at the puzzled faces of An Yiqing, Gu Tingting, and the others.
Duan Tang, who had his mango pudding snatched away, was startled at first but then realized Ruan Xue’s intentions. He shook his head, his gaze gentle, about to speak when the entrance of the coffee shop was pushed open, and Ruan Hao quickly strode in.
"Family Head, Elder Duan has heard that you’re with Miss An and he would like to invite Miss An over to the Duan Family Mansion for a gathering," Ruan Hao said, compelled to bring up Duan Yuntian, Old Master Duan.
Upon hearing this, An Yiqing immediately nodded with a smile, "That’s great, I’ve been wanting to visit Grandpa Duan these past few days. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had the chance to go. Head Duan, could I hitch a ride to your place later? You wouldn’t mind, right?"
An Yiqing was going to the Duan Family Mansion, and how could Duan Tang possibly object? Even if he was busy later, he’d have to find a way to free up his schedule. As long as it meant being alone with An Yiqing, Duan Tang was naturally overjoyed.
Watching as Ruan Xue quickly finished off over half of the remaining mango pudding in the plate, the usually stern-faced Ruan Hao couldn’t help but heave a sigh of relief. He silently scorned Duan Tang in his heart, for whenever Miss An appeared, his own family head’s IQ seemed to drop into negative numbers.
