"You’re too glib; I can’t win against you. Come on, follow me; I’ll take you to see the workshop of the brewery."
The workshop of Baiyu Brewery wasn’t inside this building; it was located on the outskirts of Dongcheng District, appearing from the outside to be just a simple factory.
Upon entering the main gate, they were immediately greeted by the strong scent of alcohol. Although An Yiqing wasn’t a professional brewer by training, her many years of experience in brewing had made her nose extremely sensitive. She could tell just by the smell that Bai Yiming had definitely hired a master brewer with real skills.
"Where did you find this person? The craftsmanship is impressive," An Yiqing said softly, her delicate nose twitching.
Hearing her praise, an unprecedented joy filled Bai Yiming’s heart, and an astonished smile spread across his face.
"I found the brewmaster through many connections. They’re actually three brothers with ancestral brewing methods. You’ll be surprised when we see the workshop," he said with a mysterious smile, leading a curious An Yiqing to the workshop.
Today was a workday, and the brewers in the workshop were busily engaged in their tasks with order and diligence. It seemed Bai Yiming had an excellent eye for people; the workers appeared very responsible and their skills were impressive. Even as An Yiqing and he walked in, none of the employees became distracted or slacked off, each keeping their head down and focusing intently on the work at hand.
At that moment, the person in charge of managing the workshop, with sharp eyes, spotted Bai Yiming walking in and quickly came over to greet them.
"Director Bai, what brings you here? And who might this be?" the man, around forty years old, respectfully inquired.
"Manager Xie, this is Miss An Yiqing. I’m here today to show her our brewing process," Bai Yiming replied.
