"Hmm, delicious," An Yiqing opened her little mouth for a taste and her eyes lit up. This was the taste of her mother’s cooking.

An Yiqing’s eyes drifted slowly around the room. This was the bedroom of Kong Shi and An Zisheng, the room clean and neat, decorated mainly in white. Kong Shi was a woman who liked tranquility, and An Zisheng was a man of talent, so their bedroom was filled with many books and plants.
The girl started searching from one corner of the room, as if something had gradually begun to emerge from beneath the surface.
Kong Shi sat quietly on the sofa, following the girl’s movements with her eyes. She didn’t speak, afraid of interrupting An Yiqing’s line of thought.
After about twenty minutes, An Yiqing had searched most of the room and finally stopped in front of the balcony.
This was an indoor balcony styled like a flower garden, where Kong Shi always kept some plants and flowers. She tended to them with great care every day.
"Mom, where did these two pots of flowers come from?" An Yiqing asked, pointing to two plants with purple petals.
"These two?" Kong Shi walked over for a closer look and said, "Oh, these were given to me by Aunt Li."
