"Miss An, make yourself comfortable. If you have any questions, just call me," Wang Sheng, while showing his credentials to dismiss the police on guard, told An Yiqing.
"Okay. Thank you."
Polite, the girl thanked him and walked into the bedroom.
The first crime scene of Xiong Tian’s incident was on the floor of his bedroom. The arrangement and layout of the room remained as it was at the time of the incident, with the disheveled bed from the struggle, and scattered items like a fallen bedside lamp and mobile phone all indicating the agony Xiong Tian had before his death.
"Ah Lin, do you smell something strange?" An Yiqing asked as she moved her nose, catching a scent.
"A strange smell?" Gu Yelin sniffed carefully, frowning as he asked, "Tutu, what strange smell?"
The girl didn’t speak. Logically speaking, Gu Yelin’s sensory perception should have been much sharper than hers, but he didn’t smell anything. This could only mean... everyone has their limitations when it comes to things they’re not skilled in.
