Chapter 204: Another New Costume And Still The Same Issues
"That doesn't look good," Evan said, frowning.
"What is it?" Alexander asked, looking at the noble boy.
They were up on a hill outside of the fake Oleander city, far enough away that they couldn't hear Pied's song. They didn't know how long they'd have to wait out there before the fighting was over, but it was starting to get annoying, and all three of them were getting a little anxious just sitting there, knowing their bodyguards were engaged with several dangerous villains.
The only one of the three of them that had any sort of idea for how the battle was going was Evan, who had a pair of binoculars, though for the past hour or so, the boy hadn't been able to see anything noteworthy. That was until now.
"Well, don't just stand there, spit it out?" Alexander barked out. He was worried if his daughter was okay, and Evan's remark had caused his stress to nearly double. "What do you see?"
"People?"
"What?" Alexander frowned and gave a confused look. "It's a city. Of course, you'd see people."
Irene set her book down and frowned. "Do you mean the city's people?"
"Yeah." Evan nodded.
Irene let out a heavy sigh. "That's not good."
"It isn't?" Alexander asked.
