Chapter 1532: Netherworld, Other Shore Flower 7
He squatted down and looked at Su Yan, who had closed her eyes.
Thoughtful
"So, she’s not asleep yet."
The words fell.
Su Yan opened her eyes.
The next second, she raised her hand.
Two forces collided.
The man’s eyebrows rose.
A laugh came from deep within his throat.
"Quite a formidable one."
Phoenix eyes slightly lifted.
Dark eyes met Su Yan’s gaze.
At this moment, the black rope crystal bracelet shaped like raindrops on Su Yan’s right wrist suddenly appeared.
Its color was like blood, bright red and intense.
It shone with a light, as if in the next second, the crystal would transform into a drop of blood and drip onto the ground.
Su Yan was stunned, and she looked up at the man.
Meanwhile, the man’s attention was on the Other Shore Flower hairpin on Su Yan’s head.
He smiled.
His phoenix eyes curved, pink lips arched into a curve.
The handsome face appeared particularly striking and captivating now.
The man withdrew his hand and straightened his sleeve.
He spoke,
"It’s not safe for a girl to be alone outside. It’s so late, why not stay at my humble abode for the night?"
Su Yan looked at him. After a while, she nodded.
"Okay,"
she replied.
As soon as she agreed, she saw the man’s gaze fall on the two half-human half-snake beside her.
He hesitated,
"What is this...?"
Su Yan,
"My pet snakes."
The man seemed to suddenly realize,
"You can bring them along to stay at my humble abode as well."
Then, Su Yan grabbed onto a snake tail with each hand, dragging the two snake men, and headed towards the man’s home.
Xiao Hua murmured softly,
"Host, you usually wouldn’t follow someone so easily.
Is this man the Lord Hero?"
Based on past experiences,
the Host would only be led away by the Lord Hero.
Around anyone but the Lord Hero, she would remain completely clear-headed.
On the way, the man spoke first,
"Sang Ming, a permanent resident of this village."
Su Yan replied,
"Su Yan, new here."
Sang Ming laughed; he seemed to be in a good mood.
"I wonder what brings Miss Su here?"
Su Yan responded,
"I don’t know."
She had inexplicably arrived in this world.
She didn’t know why she appeared here either.
Sang Ming,
"Oh?"
After a pause, he continued,
"Then it seems it’s destined for you to appear here."
Su Yan nodded,
"Maybe."
As they talked, they walked into a foggy area.
The fog obscured the road ahead.
Soon, she heard Sang Ming’s voice,
"Miss Su, ahead is my humble abode."
Su Yan looked into the distance.
Vaguely, she could see the outlines.
Upon approaching, she saw the mansion.
This place couldn’t simply be called a humble abode.
This was a grand estate.
In front were two massive stone lions, majestic and mighty.
As they walked further, she saw the words ’Sang Mansion’ written above the black doors.
Climbing the steps, Sang Ming reached out and pushed open the doors.
The wooden doors groaned open slowly.
Inside were rockeries, winding paths, clusters of flowers, and streaming water, making a gushing sound.
Everywhere seemed carefully designed, making one feel like they were in a paradise at first glance, utterly breathtaking.
Walking further in, she felt surrounded by the scent of flowers, with mist swirling around, and everything before her was unimaginably beautiful.
Following after, Sang Ming said,
"Miss Su, please."
Su Yan walked further in.
Entering the hall.
Compared to the outside that was like a fairyland,
the hall was quite simple.
A table, a chair, a Jiao Wei Zither, and nothing else.
The room was extremely empty.
