Among the intelligence of The Eight Great Families, at least thirty-two of the One Hundred and Eight First-class Families have either contacted the Righteous and Evil Gods or have begun worshiping them, or they originally had the bloodline of the Righteous and Evil Gods. Thus, in the Ancient Era, the Righteous or Evil Gods established certain agreements with them through various means.

They intend to return and restore the grandeur of the Ancient Era.

But now it is the domain of The Eight Great Families, as they have taken control over the Heavenly Continent, so they do not allow the Righteous or Evil Gods to return and disrupt their rule.

Thus, by nipping the issue in the bud, they can completely sever the path of return for the Righteous and Evil Gods, allowing The Eight Great Families to continue ruling the Heavenly Realm and occupy all its resources.

The suspicious person mentioned by Matt Graham is due to Landyn Torres wanting to see if there is indeed a return of the Righteous and Evil Gods in their true form, as the thirty-two clans can’t possibly be unaware that The Eight Great Families aim to eliminate them, yet they still dared to come, which shows they have confidence.

So where does their confidence stem from? Simply relying on the Righteous and Evil Gods passing their skills to someone or possessing someone seems ineffective.

Possession does not equate to having the true form, so they cannot exert their true strength. Without their true strength, how can the Righteous and Evil Gods fight against The Eight Great Families?
