The Eternal Hall has been reached, the Eternal Palace within this Eternal City, the length of its existence unknown, its magnificent palace architecture towering high. The entire palace complex rises hundreds of zhang, seemingly true to the legends that the ancient gods were all giants.

For only giants could build such towering palaces.

After entering the hallway, there lay a vast staircase plaza. Looking up from the bottom, middle-ranked Divine Emperors were arrayed on either side. Their numbers, as one casts eyes upwards, were likely to exceed a thousand.

These were merely the most common soldiers.

Perhaps ordinarily, they were high and mighty Divine Emperors, looking down upon all, but now, during the days the Eight Great Families were holding a collective grand wedding, they were all conscripted, turned into robust conscripts.

The Eight Great Families possessed inherent strength, and they controlled one hundred and eight First-class Families, several thousand Second-class Families, and tens of thousands of Third-class Families in the Heavenly Realm.

And these families, when the Eight Great Families had affairs to attend to, naturally owed them service. Hence, those with Divine Emperors needed to supply Divine Emperors, and those with Divine Kings needed to supply Divine Kings.

Yusuf Zuck clicked his tongue in wonder, at the same time communicating telepathically with Karson Schwartz.

"These are mostly people from the Second-class Families. If each family contributes one person, it makes for a vast number!" Karson Schwartz said.
