Chapter 1181 - 1180: Nine Chains Soul Severing Bridge

Meanwhile, having climbed out of a deep well, Yusuf Zuck and Piers found themselves in a huge cave similar to a mine. Behind them was the well, and before them was a bridge. Under the bridge flowed a calm underground river, the water of which was black.
The bridge was a chain bridge with nine thick chains serving as its platform, with no wooden or stone boards; to cross, one had to step directly onto the chains.
Yusuf Zuck closed his eyes for a moment to sense his surroundings and found that he still couldn’t release telekinesis or fly.
"Master, there’s a stele!" Piers reminded him at that moment.
"Hmm." Yusuf Zuck, accompanied by Piers, walked over to the stele at the beginning of the bridge and then read the inscription carefully.
The stele’s inscription was in hieroglyphic symbols, which Piers, surprisingly enough, recognized, having lived for thousands of years and studied a myriad of subjects!
