Chapter 798 - 797: Break Even
A sense of reality was so vivid that, at least momentarily, Yusuf Zuck failed to perceive everything before his eyes as an illusion. For the woman with the dazzlingly white skin had body temperature, her flesh was resilient, she breathed, her heart beat, and even her voice sounded bone-chilling!
Yusuf Zuck felt as if he had fallen into a den of tenderness, and under the seduction of various sights and sounds, he morphed into a beast!
However, it was merely a fleeting moment. As he struggled to extricate himself from his inability to resist, a burst of purple light suddenly flashed deep inside his mind. Following that, the Blood Beads began to pulsate and glow; a tidal wave of spiritual power surged forth, and he snapped back to clarity in an instant!
Then he saw how unseemly his own posture was. Clearly, there was no one in front of him, but his hands were positioned as if they were grabbing at something, and even his own tongue had extended out, accompanied by nosebleeds, certain physiological responses, and so on.
Yusuf Zuck suddenly had an urge to strangle himself, cursing at how he was fooling around with thin air!
A scream pierced the air, and the shrill cry from Jesse Newton brought him swiftly back to his senses. Following its echo, he saw Jesse Newton collapse onto the floor, blood streaming from her seven orifices, her body swollen and flushed with the kind of red that signified inflammation. Her eyes were devoid of pupils, replaced by a sheer blood-red.
Additionally, she was panting heavily, with a blood-red light flickering above her head!
"Save me... save me..." She seemed to lack the strength to do anything but twitch, and it was unclear how the spiritual energy he had unwittingly released had affected her. Her state was alarming, as if she were on the verge of exploding!
