Chapter 783 - 782: Two Divine Weapons
When the bright headlamp illuminated the stone chamber on the left, Yusuf Zuck could see everything inside. There was no longer water on the floor, just mud, and a stone sarcophagus was situated in the center of the chamber. Yusuf Zuck walked to the side of the sarcophagus and gently pushed it open. There was nobody inside, just some pearls and gemstones, among others.
Of course, it wasn’t that there had never been anyone inside the sarcophagus – after such a long time, the body had decomposed so thoroughly that not even fragments of bone remained, just a chaotic mess of teeth.
He saw neither ghosts nor zombies.
After scanning the room, Yusuf Zuck continued to break through the stone doors on the left side, which led to a series of chambers that seemed to be the lateral chambers.
The third stone chamber also contained a sarcophagus, but apart from the funeral objects on the floor, one of the walls was adorned with a mask.
Indeed, a mask – similar to the kind worn during shamanistic dances or rituals. It was neither gold nor iron nor made of wood, and its material was unknown.
Yusuf Zuck felt this mask was special because it hadn’t decayed. When he took it off the wall, it felt elastic in his hand.
After contemplating, Yusuf Zuck tossed the mask into his ring.
