Half an hour later, Yusuf Zuck climbed up and took the detonator before viciously pressing it downward. A dull boom sounded from beneath the ground, the nearby earth shook briefly, and the robbers’ tunnel even collapsed a bit.
"It’s a normal phenomenon, the door should be open. Keep digging!" Yusuf Zuck said and then suddenly pulled out a bag of blood from the adjacent backpack, smearing it on his forehead.
"What kind of blood is that?" Nehemiah Blevins asked curiously.
Yusuf Zuck replied, "Black Dog’s Blood, with the strongest yang energy. It prevents the yin energy from entering the body."
The others also quickly smeared Black Dog’s Blood on the crown of their heads, then continued digging.
"So disgusting," Mia and Rene Benson, along with a few other girls, shivered in revulsion. Tomb raiding is not easy indeed — it’s a matter of life and death!
The collapsed area wasn’t large; in less than half an hour, the tunnel was dug open again, and Yusuf Zuck and others climbed up in a sorry state, gasping for breath heavily.
"What happened?" Nehemiah Blevins saw that the faces of these five individuals didn’t look good, and one of them was even shivering, as if he were cold.
But they had been working so hard that they were all sweating; how could they be cold?
Yusuf Zuck rolled his eyes, looked at Nehemiah Blevins, and said, "When the tunnel was dug open again, a blast of cold wind blew out, very cold. Everyone keeps back, don’t let the chill enter your body."
