Yusuf Zuck took Ruth Wilcox to the southwestern area of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, deep within the Qilian Mountains. The terrain here was high and valleys deep, with a unique landform and treacherous, bizarrely shaped rocks.
Actually, he had no idea where the serpent demon was located; searching for it was merely out of curiosity. Finding it or not didn’t really matter; his main intention was to practice cultivation in the mountains.

The cave was very dark, but with the help of a strong flashlight, its interior reflected light from many places.

"I’m not sure, but there are definitely crystal stones inside, or perhaps other minerals. Also, this cave winds underground, there’s water, and it’s comfortably warm. How about we stay here for a few days?"
"Whatever you say, as long as you’re with me, I’m happy to be anywhere," Ruth Wilcox said blissfully. Having just become a bride, she was completely won over by Yusuf Zuck. He, the old workhorse, had cultivated her fallow land.
"Then I’ll set up the tent and the cooking gear!" Yusuf Zuck laughed heartily, putting down his backpack and beginning to set up the tent with Ruth Wilcox naturally lending a hand.
