Chapter 601 - 600: Chad Lopez Is a Demon
Chad Lopez’s robe was made from some unknown material, so even with Yusuf Zuck’s immense telekinetic power, he could only see a vaguely discernible energy mass, meaning he couldn’t tell if the person inside was male or female, young or old.
A few days earlier, after Yusuf Zuck launched a low kick aimed at the groin and hit nothing, he concluded that the person might not necessarily be a man, or a woman, or perhaps like Tyler Nash, a hermaphrodite afflicted with chronic issues.
Furthermore, it was certain that Chad Lopez was adept at ventriloquism or voice throwing. He could mimic both a man’s and a woman’s voice, using the specially crafted robe and counterfeit voice to shroud his mystique.
Essentially, he was just putting on a paranormal act.
Yusuf Zuck had lost all affection for this person and for the Dragon group ever since Chad Lopez said he wouldn’t intervene during Aurelia Murray’s kidnapping of Paisley Kirk. Both Dragon group and Chad Lopez had completely offended him, ruling out any possibility of reconciliation!
Chad Lopez had rushed over to the Green Cloud Gorge in an effort to prevent Yusuf Zuck from committing murder, lecturing him about the principles of life and death and hoping Yusuf Zuck would abandon murderous thoughts.
But Yusuf Zuck, now seething with killing intent and consumed by a fury that choked the sky, how could he possibly heed Chad Lopez’s dissuasion?
His two brothers had died, though the killer was only one. But who among those who came out of the Dragon Gate World was good? They all coveted his Magic Treasures, and on that principle, alone, they could not be allowed to leave.
Because the moment they left, upon returning to the Dragon Gate World, they would certainly spread the news of his possession of Magic Treasures to other powerful beings. More powerful foes might come, and then it was likely he would die, along with the possibility that his loved ones wouldn’t survive either.
Therefore, to prevent future troubles and for his own safety, the solution was to kill, kill, kill, clean slate, blow up the Dragon Gate Passage, and keep the people of the Dragon Gate World at bay. Peace was what he sought.
