"What’s the situation? That so-called Ross Family is powerful?" Once he arrived at the back hall, Jacob Escobar frowned. How could some clan possibly stand against their Heaven?
"Elder," Norris Escobar said with a hint of bitterness, "the Ross Zelde Clan is the wealthiest family in the world, with a history spanning several hundred years!"
"Merely several hundred years, when we have a legacy of thousands!" Jacob Escobar scoffed. "Stick to the main point, no dilly-dallying!"
"Yes, yes, yes," Norris Escobar nodded repeatedly, "Not only do they have riches, but they also possess great power, as they are Descendants of the Bloodline!"
"What?" Jacob Escobar was a bit dumbfounded upon hearing Norris Escobar’s words. He knew about the Blood Race; it was an extremely powerful lineage. Heaven had clashed with this race over a hundred years ago, ending with both sides grievously injured.
"Damn it!" Jacob Escobar cursed, his complexion turning an intense red. A moment ago, he boasted that he could annihilate the Ross Family in minutes, but now that he knew they were descendants of the Blood Race, he realized that even Heaven couldn’t do it, not within a short time, at least.
The challenge presented by the master healer was significant, and difficult to say the least!
But he had already blown his own trumpet to the skies; now he couldn’t find a way to gracefully retreat!
He paced circles in the back hall, earnestly wishing to keep Yusuf Zuck in Heaven because with Yusuf’s presence, the Escobar Family would gain substantial support. At least in the future, during sickness or disaster, this master healer could cure them, which would be of immense benefit to Heaven.
