Chapter 466 - 465: Together?
Regarding Yusuf Zuck’s various miraculous abilities, Ruth Wilcox had gone from initial shock to calmness. Yusuf Zuck did not feel reassured about her, so he entered the cabin with her, and she felt her hand being tightly held by him, not once did he let go.
He was telling himself that he was by her side, all the time.
"In freshman year of high school, the flight we were supposed to take had an accident, it was bombed, and I thought you were on the plane. I believed it was the work of my enemies, your phone was out of reach, so I went to the crash site to look for your belongings but found nothing."
"Then I went back to the capital and killed a lot of my enemies’ people, and then..." Yusuf Zuck shrugged and bitterly smiled, "Maybe the authorities thought I’d gone mad, considered me too terrifying, so they sent someone I knew to kill me. And indeed, they did kill me, but I came back to life."
"But I knew that, at least for the short term, I couldn’t stay in the country because up until now, they still don’t know I’m alive."
"You’re so formidable, yet someone managed to kill you?" Ruth Wilcox said in disbelief.
"The person was more formidable than me, a single palm strike was a few hundred thousand volts of electricity."
"What’s happening to this world?" Ruth Wilcox exclaimed incredulously, "You’re like this, others too, have I crossed over to another world? Why are the people I’ve met in the past few days so entirely different from those I knew before?"
Yusuf Zuck thought for a moment, "In our world, there exists a group of people, very powerful beings with miraculous abilities."
"You’re one of them, aren’t you?"
