Chapter 434 - 433: Going Home
As dusk approached, Yusuf Zuck finally returned home, driving back in a big seven-seater Mercedes-Benz Viano, a commercial vehicle. Although it was a seven-seater, seating more than ten people was no problem, and moreover, the car wasn’t expensive, costing just over four hundred thousand yuan in total.
Felix Zuck had stewed a big pot of fish, Ruth Wilcox had mixed a cold dish, and Sophia had stewed a pot using medicinal herbs, containing chicken feet, pig’s trotters, spare ribs, among other ingredients, along with various vegetables, all infused with a faint scent of traditional Chinese medicine.
Rachel Fournier had also stir-fried a dish, specifically stir-fried fern root noodles.
In total, there were four dishes, several bottles of Wuliangye baijiu, and a few bottles of red wine.
After all, Chinese New Year was coming, and what do you do for Chinese New Year? Of course, you eat. Sophia loved to eat, Rachel Fournier also loved to eat, and although Ruth Wilcox wasn’t such a fan of eating, she did enjoy the process of cooking.
"Come on, come on, everyone sit down, sit down. Bunny boy, drink baijiu with me; the three of you, red wine," Mr. Zuck was especially happy, eating alone versus eating with a crowd made for a completely different atmosphere. He truly loved having many people at home; the more, the better.
"I also want to drink baijiu," Sophia suddenly raised her hand and said.
"I’d like to have some baijiu too," Harley Strong said with an embarrassed face, sneaking a glance at Yusuf Zuck.
"What’s this, you all drinking baijiu, leaving me to drink red wine alone?" Ruth Wilcox said, half laughing, half crying.
"Why don’t you have some too?" Yusuf Zuck said with a laugh.
