Chapter 403: Mia’s Discovery
Rylan Cortez hurried away, but his return was just as fast. He drove back to the hotel with a clatter, the front hood of his battered car having fallen off.
Upon arriving at the hotel lobby, he saw Antoine Cunningham chatting and laughing amicably with a group of people.
At that moment, he felt as though Antoine Cunningham was akin to the King of Hell himself, leaping out from Hell, a man who dared to do anything in Mongolia.
A sudden urge to cry welled up within him.
Antoine Cunningham also noticed Rylan Cortez but merely glanced at him before turning away without further acknowledgment.
Rylan Cortez approached the manager and, after whispering a few words, was escorted upstairs by him.
A short while later, Rylan Cortez descended the stairs, his face deathly pale and his left arm wrapped in a down jacket, with the manager supporting him at his side.
In the lobby, he said nothing and quickly left the hotel, arranged into a car by the manager.
Antoine Cunningham appeared utterly indifferent to the death of a Mr. Dyer, nor did he care about Rylan Cortez breaking an arm. He continued to converse merrily with the crowd until Yusuf Zuck and his two companions came downstairs. Only then did Cunningham stand up.
