Chapter 386 - 385: Yusuf Zuck’s Team
"What’s the level of your great-grandfather?" Yusuf Zuck asked, his face brimming with curiosity, as he looked at Russ Trujillo.
"Many years ago, he reached the state of Fasting, I guess? As for now, I have no idea; it’s impossible to tell. But his teeth fell out and then grew back again, the white hair at the roots turned black, now he has a full head of black hair, and there are much fewer wrinkles on his face."
"Is there really such a thing as the Fasting state in this world?" Yusuf Zuck was taken aback. Fasting means not eating, drinking, or sleeping, right? Are there really people in the world who can live without eating or drinking?
"Actually, to speak broadly, Fasting doesn’t necessarily mean not eating or drinking. How should I put it, what they consume is just different, like an Elixir Pill, a cup of mountain spring water, and so on. They still need to take in sustenance, otherwise, even immortals would starve to death without eating or drinking, right? We are born with organs like the stomach for digestion; if not used for this purpose, then what are they for?"
"Oh." Yusuf Zuck nodded, thought about it, and felt that what Russ Trujillo said made sense. Fasting might not mean literally not eating or drinking; maybe these people eat once every ten days or half a month.
"Can your grandfather fly?" Yusuf Zuck suddenly asked.
"Fly?" Russ Trujillo was taken aback: "My great-grandfather doesn’t have wings, how could he possibly fly? However, his light body skills are indeed extraordinary."
"So even the Fasting state doesn’t enable one to fly?" Yusuf Zuck laughed. That’s because one day he would be able to fly; he was very certain of this.
After chatting for a bit and agreeing to contact each other after ten o’clock at night, Miles O’brien and Felicity O’brien went back the way they came. The sisters seemed to be in high spirits, though it was unclear what they had discussed.
After the four had eaten, Miles O’Brien paid the bill, and they went their separate ways, with Yusuf Zuck and Miles O’Brien hurrying off to Marlon Shepherd’s home.
