Rachel Fournier and the others had been in a meeting for over an hour, and an hour later, Rachel Fournier returned to the corner along with Everest Zuck.
Everest Zuck also went to the meeting because he represented the newly joined sect, and naturally, he needed to sit in on the meeting’s proceedings.
"Rachel, did you see Elder Miao?" As soon as they returned, Yusuf Zuck asked anxiously because the meeting had concluded, and that meant Elder Miao must have certainly arrived, right?
"No, Elder Miao didn’t come." Rachel Fournier shook her head and took a deep breath, "Elder Miao is dead!"
"What?" Upon hearing this, Yusuf Zuck nearly jumped up. He hadn’t come here to attend some extraordinary meeting but to find Elder Miao. Now Rachel Fournier was saying Elder Miao was dead?
"I also just found out about Elder Miao’s passing. However, her granddaughter has come. She claims that the old lady passed away half a month ago."
"How could this be such a coincidence? How could this be such a coincidence?" Yusuf Zuck sat down in anguish. If Elder Miao was dead, then wasn’t Ember Vance beyond help?
"Yusuf Zuck, don’t lose heart. Even though Elder Miao has passed on, she still has a granddaughter. I see her granddaughter is also extraordinary; perhaps she can heal too, right?" Everest Zuck immediately tried to comfort him.
"Her granddaughter?" Yusuf Zuck was stunned for a moment, questioning, "Could she do it?"
"Treat a dead horse as though it’s alive, before the old lady died, she must have passed on her skills to someone, doesn’t that make sense? So her granddaughter might even surpass her."
