Chapter 321: Who Did It?
Yusuf Zuck discovered that Ember Vance was not truly brain dead, as she could still respond to his telekinetic call and send him signals.
Yusuf Zuck, like clutching at straws, began calling out to her repeatedly, transmitting signals with his telekinesis to communicate with her.
Of course, it was mostly him talking, with Ember Vance occasionally sending him a signal, or not responding at all.
After a full hour had passed without much progress, Yusuf Zuck knew that Ember Vance’s consciousness was still there; she hadn’t truly died.
As long as she wasn’t dead, he was determined to pull her back from the brink.
Everest Zuck arrived in a hurry with the injured Jerome Hart and Faye Webb, and upon arrival, the Vance Family asked them to come to the hospital room. They didn’t know who Everest Zuck was, but when Jerome Hart introduced himself as David Hart’s grandson, Deputy Minister Ace Vance became very excited, hence they were invited into the hospital room.
The Vance Family also followed inside.
"What’s the situation?" Everest Zuck, after coming in, didn’t ask about the patient first but what was going on with Yusuf Zuck.
"There’s no brain activity, but the heart is still functioning, and there’s a pulse. She can’t breathe on her own, though. Just now, when I tried to call out to her with my telekinesis, she responded," Yusuf Zuck said, no longer caring if he exposed himself in front of others.
Besides, others might not understand his reference to telekinesis, because only Everest Zuck knew that Yusuf Zuck had the ability to control objects with his mind.
