As the head of a film and television company, even though he was working for someone else, Yusuf Zuck was not lacking in smarts; he was neither dumb nor confused.
Everyone knew that stairwells were less frequented since there were elevators, and with the building being tall, who would take the stairs without a reason? So when he went into the stairwell, it wasn’t to go down, but to go up.
Indeed, when Yusuf Zuck and a fellow named Pillar followed him inside, they were surprised to find Mr. Zuck running upstairs.
"Damn," cursed Yusuf Zuck and Pillar, before they quickly followed suit.
Mr. Zuck rushed up to the tenth floor and then stopped in front of a company’s office; there were also two uniformed security guards in front of that office. These were building security, and the office belonged to the building’s property management company.
What exactly Mr. Zuck said to the two security guards was unknown, but they approached Yusuf Zuck and Pillar. Meanwhile, two more individuals came out from the property company. After exchanging a few words and chuckles with Mr. Zuck, they all entered the elevator together.
Before entering the elevator, Mr. Zuck also turned back suddenly, casting a disdainful glance at Yusuf Zuck and Pillar!
"What are you two doing here? Who are you looking for?" the two security guards finally reached Yusuf Zuck and Pillar and inquired.
Yusuf Zuck realized he and Pillar had been played by Mr. Zuck.
With a cold look, Yusuf Zuck told the guards, "No one. We’re leaving." He then promptly turned with Pillar and entered the stairwell, while also taking out his phone to call Samuel Ross to inform him that Mr. Zuck had left the building, describing his appearance and clothing in great detail.
