Chapter 272: Preparing for Signing
The quiet night, filled with endless yearning and memories, saw both siblings fall silent. It seemed they were both reminiscing about the past, about the years gone by.
From a very young age, they had been together. Back then, the brother had said, "I will protect my sister for my whole life."
The sister had replied, "Brother, when I grow up, I will marry you."
They were very young and innocent. Perhaps it was that innocent era, those difficult times, that allowed both siblings to give everything for each other, with no one else capable of taking their place in their hearts.
Sara Zuck was feeling very down. She ceased speaking, and Yusuf Zuck didn’t want to talk about those... those taboo topics either.
It wasn’t until dawn, at six in the morning, when Yusuf Zuck’s phone rang that he immediately got up and hastily left Sara’s room with the phone to his ear.
Sara also got out of bed and pulled back the curtains, gazing at the snow-covered world outside her window.
The night in the capital had brought more snow; somewhere outside, someone was playing a cheerful Christmas song, and many villas had Christmas trees still twinkling with lights at their doors.
Sara sighed softly to herself. Another year had passed, and she really didn’t want to grow up, because getting older brought too much worry and confusion.
"Everyone in the building, get up! Time to shovel the snow, hurry up!" Yusuf Zuck, having finished the call, stood in the living room on the first floor and shouted loudly.
