At one-thirty in the morning, Wu Ma delivered Mia to the InterContinental Hotel, then pretended to leave. However, after turning a corner, she circled back to the hotel’s parking lot and called Daisy Wilkinson.
Mia had specifically changed into a ladylike long dress and touched up her red lips. Wearing high heels, she looked particularly beautiful and especially elegant.
She didn’t know which room Yusuf Zuck was staying in, so when she entered the hotel lobby, she called him directly.

"Sorry, we cannot disclose customer information!" Both receptionists also spoke in Cantonese, and their expressions and tones were rather unfriendly.
They had thought the girl was from Hong Kong, but after she spoke in Mandarin, it was clear they looked down on her.
She’s from the Mainland, perhaps here to sell herself, so why would they be courteous?
"Fine, if you can’t reveal customer information, then let me ask you this: Is there a guest from the Mainland who came here on a bicycle?" Mia didn’t take issue with the two Hong Kong girls, as many people in Hong Kong looked down on those from the Mainland.
