Chapter 171: Fatty Ma’s Overture
"Swoosh—" Yusuf Zuck was like a phantom in the darkness, charging towards the waiter just as he was about to approach the two young people. He then quickly grabbed the waiter’s knife-holding right hand, using telekinesis to lock onto it.
The waiter hadn’t expected anyone to see the knife, let alone intervene.
"Don’t move, don’t talk, stupid behavior," Yusuf Zuck said as he applied pressure on his wrist, skillfully wresting the knife away. He then dragged the waiter away, retreating to the back hall entrance.
"Whoosh—" Just then, the lights came on. The circuit breaker was flipped, and many people smiled in relief.
The waiter saw Yusuf Zuck and also glared at him.
The sharp knife in Yusuf Zuck’s hand had disappeared, thrown into a large flowerpot at the entrance of the back hall.
"Don’t glare at me. I saved your life. You should know that your impulsive action today might feel satisfying for a moment, but once the impulse fades, your life would also end," Yusuf Zuck whispered, "Actually, taking revenge doesn’t always require force. They have more money than you, but if you work hard, the day you have more money than them, crushing them with your wealth, that is the highest realm of revenge."
After speaking, Yusuf Zuck no longer paid attention to the despondent waiter and turned back to Mia’s side.
The waiter watched his retreating figure and took a long while to exhale before slowly stepping out of the venue.
"What happened?" Mia saw Yusuf Zuck talking with the waiter at the entrance of the back hall, so she frowned and asked what was going on.
