Chapter 159: A Storm is Brewing
As expected, the second stone that was cut open contained no green, just a complete waste, and when Erjun had finished cutting up the last of the fragments, Bryce Harper, Eloise Hart, and even Miles O’Brien frowned and turned their attention to Yusuf Zuck. Yusuf Zuck also furrowed his brows, muttering about the impossibility amidst the pile of broken stones.
To pretend convincingly, he too adopted an air of incredulity.
"Even a horse stumbles, no big deal, let’s move on to the next one," Bryce Harper and Eloise Hart signaled Erjun to continue after a moment.
Though they both had high hopes for Yusuf Zuck’s infallibility, no one had achieved it to date. If Yusuf Zuck did manage it, it would be nothing short of miraculous.
After the third stone was cut open, a large swathe of green was revealed, at least several tens of kilograms, and Bryce Harper and Eloise Hart couldn’t help but smile joyfully upon seeing the green.
Yusuf Zuck had chosen three stones and hit jackpot with two – a big win-rate, especially considering he was selecting from what they had deemed unworthy and unlikely to contain green. Thus, a score of three for two positioned Yusuf Zuck as a master among masters.
Bryce Harper and Eloise Hart encouraged Yusuf Zuck to pick one more, but hungry Yusuf claimed hunger and ran off to the chicken pot to sip some soup.
Both Bryce Harper and Eloise Hart were shrewd, but they couldn’t fathom the musings in Yusuf Zuck’s mind; they suddenly realized they couldn’t see through him at all.
Helpless, they had no choice but to join Yusuf Zuck for a meal.
