After meeting at the small restaurant, Samuel Ross and his group split up again. Fleur Carson drove away in a taxi, Jerome Hart disappeared into the night in a white Range Rover, and Samuel Ross and Zhuzi walked into the campus of Beijing Film Academy.
About five minutes later, Fleur Carson’s car stopped under an apartment building near the academy, then he took out a travel bag from the back of the taxi and, carrying the bag, went upstairs — to the sixth floor, room 602.
This was a place he had just rented for a high price that very afternoon.
Once inside the room, he methodically opened the travel bag and began assembling a telescope.
A short while later, the high-powered telescope was assembled, and Fleur could clearly see the scene inside a four-story building opposite him.
In one of the households on the fourth floor, three people were sitting in the living room eating hot pot. Among them were two men and one woman. The woman was quite young, about twenty-five or twenty-six years old, and the two men were also around thirty.
Maybe because the room opposite didn’t have air conditioning, the windows were open, and the curtains hadn’t been drawn, so what the three people looked like, their physical characteristics, and so on were all crystal clear to Fleur Carson.
