Chapter 104: More Rugged and Handsome
Even though Yusuf Zuck hastened his pace, it was almost half past eleven at night when he returned to Ruth Wilcox’s villa.
"You’re just getting back, where did you go gallivanting?" Mia, curled up on the sofa under a blanket, was also wearing less revealing sleepwear, after all, Ruth Wilcox wasn’t around, and it would be quite scandalous if she dressed too provocatively.
Yusuf Zuck placed the braised pork and grilled skewers he had bought on the coffee table, and also tossed his coat to one side, saying, "I haven’t had dinner either, let’s eat together." After that, he picked up a box of rice and started eating heartily.
"I asked you where you went gallivanting, why aren’t you answering me?" Mia complained.
"Went to a nightclub, I guess, had fun with five girls," Yusuf Zuck casually bluffed.
"Yeah right, keep dreaming." Sure enough, as soon as Yusuf spoke something unserious, Mia looked at him with utter disdain, of course, she didn’t believe for a second that Yusuf went out for such activities.
She also picked up a box of rice, and began eating some braised pork very slowly, nibbling like a kitten, chewing patiently, while also stealing glances at Yusuf Zuck out of the corner of her eye.
"You don’t drink?" After a moment of silence, Mia suddenly asked.
"Alcohol leads to disorderly behavior," Yusuf Zuck replied indifferently, "I don’t drink."
"Pfft... who’s getting disorderly with you? Do you want to save your face?"
