Chapter 106: The curse
The academy consisted of the central tower, the Sun Tower, and the Moon Tower.
The central tower was for all those who wanted to further their studies on aura, whether they used a sword, axe, spear, or even their fists, while the sun and moon towers were for mages or those who aspired to be.
Baines had then altered his head guard’s facial characteristics to mimic his with the bracelet from Vole, and his to an average person with aging reversal. The bracelet could only work on one person at a time.
Then he sent the guards and the servant to gather all the attention and go to the moon tower. That way, they took all attention away from him, and he could focus on the sun tower.
He knew it wouldn’t last, but by then, he would’ve entered the moon tower. The sun and moon towers had ten floors each, and there was no limit to how long one could spend on a floor.
Whenever one felt ready, they could take the test to move to the next floor.
Usually, students chose the moon tower because the moon tower was filled with mages from the Lunar dominion, and they were more skilled in magic than Solaris, who owned the sun tower.
And when they chose the moon tower, they usually went straight to the third floor. However, he wanted to learn magic and other things, so he would take his time in between each floor to form the techniques he had already decided on and try opening his second core vessels.
That wasn’t all.
Somewhere, hidden among these thousands of books on the first and second floors, lay the third treasure in the Solaris empire.
That was his last reason for choosing the sun tower. So, after he got his mage uniform and received his badge, he wasted no time and began reading.
