Daji glanced at them, remained silent, and followed them in the opposite direction. After walking for over two hours, they reached the exit.
Standing on the path, Zhou Silang turned to head towards the village, but Manbao quickly grabbed him.
"Since we’re already here, let’s not waste any time. Let’s go directly to the county town and meet County Magistrate Yang."
Bai Shan nodded.

The gatekeeper who opened the door saw the three of them, immediately opened the gate, and cheerily asked, "Miss Man, Young Master Shan, and Young Master Bai Er, when did you come back? Weren’t you studying in Yizhou City?"
