The next day, Shen Yanchen called her after he had prepared breakfast.
Gu Qimiao noticed it was almost eight o’clock and realized her alarm hadn’t gone off and her phone wasn’t nearby.
She hurriedly finished her breakfast. Even though the gallery painter’s work hours were flexible, Gu Qimiao didn’t want to appear special, letting people think she was arrogant and give more reason for gossip.
