Chapter 12: Are You Afraid I’ll Disturb Your Good Thing with Shen Yanchen?
Seeing him probably craving a cigarette, Gu Qimiao walked over to open the window for ventilation, then set the dining table on the rails by his hospital bed.
Gu Moming smoked half a cigarette, flicked the ash, and asked her, "You still don't know what you did to make me angry?"
Gu Qimiao glanced at him with a look that showed she didn't really want to deal with him, and set the food she bought on the dining table.
"Who gave you permission to get married? Sneaking back home behind my back, have you grown bolder?"
She placed the bowl and chopsticks beside his hand, then picked up a set for herself, muttering, "I haven't actually gotten married."
"If I hadn't come, wouldn't you have gone through with it?!"
She served the rice and sat by the bed, eating with him, "It's not like I really wanted to get married..."
Gu Moming glared at her, stubbed out his cigarette and tossed it in the trash, picked up a piece of meat with his chopsticks, and asked again, "Did seeing Shen Yanchen make you feel better yesterday?"
Hearing that name, Gu Qimiao just smiled, which earned her a sideways look from Gu Moming, "Didn't you hear me when I told you to stop?"
