Death Notice

“Shattered Starry Sky” gave this sword the name “Frostwind Chaser”. The appearance and length of Frostwind Chaser were somewhat similar to Serthel’s eight-edged magic sword. But the blade did not have eight edges; it was three fingers wide, and the blade thickness was greater than the original sword. The hilt was longer, usable with either one hand or two hands, resembling the Crusaders’ knight swords from the medieval period on Earth.

The blade felt cold to the touch. The part connecting the hilt and the blade was not cross-shaped, but an oval sphere. The sphere was made up of a bronze ring about two fingers wide and a large purple gem embedded in the center.

The surface of the bronze ring was uneven, covered with small triangular iron spikes. Complex runic patterns extended from it onto the blade. In the middle of the blade, there was a smooth, curved fuller groove, appearing elegant yet simple.

Under the sunlight from the window, the large purple-red gem reflected a dazzling purple glow. Upon closer inspection, this purple glow seemed to deeply penetrate the sword’s body. From the hilt all the way to the fuller on the blade, a thin purple line ran through the center of the sword, giving an inexplicable sense of cold.

Though faint, the purple light was condensed and did not scatter. The engraved runic patterns on the blade flickered under the purple glow, appearing distant and mysterious. Regardless of the sword’s actual effectiveness, its appearance surpassed most sword-type weapons. If taken out for exhibition, it would definitely draw gasps of amazement.

“I hope its innate skills are as outstanding as its appearance!” Qin Lun curled his lip, muttered something, and then checked the weapon information that Shattered Starry Sky fed into the Death Notice.
