“Melody!” Kurapika put his hand on Melody’s shoulder and looked at her worriedly.
“It’s fine, Kurapika.” Melody steadied her emotions, turned around, and looked at Qin Lun. “I am a Music Hunter. Qin Lun felt a stir in his heart. He glanced at the newly appeared message on the Death Notice and asked with concern, “Can you return to normal?”

“You can’t help me, Mr. Qin Lun!” Melody said seriously, “By the way, may I ask you a question?”
“Please!” Qin Lun replied with a smile.
“Yesterday afternoon, I heard two different heartbeats from you, as if from two completely different people. Could you tell me what that was about?” Melody glanced at Kurapika beside her and asked cautiously.
“Of course. We may encounter enemies during the auction, so honesty will lead to better cooperation.” Qin Lun stepped forward a few steps, leaned against the rooftop railing, closed his eyes, and felt the cool morning breeze.
“Perhaps you already know — Yin, Liza, and I are not organizers of the auction. We belong to the dark organization — the Shadow Beasts.”
