“What exactly have you been up to?”

I asked this as soon as I encountered Paejon after finishing my training late in the evening.

Hearing my question, Paejon frowned deeply.

“Is that the first thing you ask your master after seeing him for the first time in days?”

“Well, of course, I figured you’d come back eventually.”

If possible, I had hoped he’d take longer to return. Maybe about seven or fifteen days?

That would’ve been ideal. Unfortunately, Paejon returned far too soon.

And not only that—

“I just didn’t expect you to return so noisily.”

Very noisily, in fact.

“Do you know how loud Hanam has been all day?”

“Isn’t Hanam always a noisy place?”
