Chapter 624. Garden Suggestions
"What do you say?" Jean asked, shuffling his feet.
"That sounds like a pretty good idea that would be very beneficial for me," Mauve replied, clasping her hands together.
"Good," he smiled. "You could also plant some in your garden. That way, you won’t have to go looking for them when you need them," he suggested.
"Oh, yeah, I could do that. Do you know anything about medicinal plants? How to plant them and how to make sure they grow properly? I doubt it would be that easy to figure out. I don’t want to mess it up trying to do it all by myself."
"I do know how, and I’d be more than happy to show you. Also, medicinal plants tend to be natural repellents, so if insects bother your plants, they would prevent that."
"Seriously?" Mauve asked with bright eyes. "That’s wonderful. Thank you so much, Jean. I do need that. It isn’t a major concern yet, but I can tell I might have to start worrying about that soon. They have already started giving me signs of their presence."
"Happy to help," he replied, trying to adjust his hair again.
Mauve nodded, smiling brightly. "I’ll be back by dawn." She started to walk away but stopped when Jean spoke again.
"Do you think His Highness would agree?" Jean asked.
