Chapter 576. Diagnosis
"I will make some herbs for you, it should help with the throwing up and the headache, of course," Jean said after he checked her body.
"What’s wrong with me?" Mauve asked, her voice soft and it was obvious it took effort for her to speak.
"Just rest for now, I will discuss it with you when you have enough energy," he replied.
She nodded and closed her eyes, she looked drowsy. Jael wasn’t sure if it was because she was sleepy or just tired.
"Don’t fall asleep just yet. Make sure she eats first," Jean didn’t speak to anyone in particular.
"Okay," it was Mill who responded.
Jean slowly stood up from the chair next to Mauve’s bed and started to back away from her.
He grabbed his bag. It looked like it had more years than it needed to. He bowed his head as he looked in Jael’s direction.
"I will go get the herb ready?" He whispered with his head still bent.
Jael frowned slightly, the human still found him terrifying. The good news was, it wasn’t as bad as the first time. However, Jean’s fear was almost as if he had done something wrong.
"Okay," Jael responded.
