Chapter 465. Ferocious Beast
Mauve opened her eyes to Jael looking at her with bright blue eyes. She turned away from him, moving not just her head but her entire body so she had her back to him.
He chuckled at her reaction. "Did you sleep well?" He asked as he nuzzled the back of her head.
"No thanks to you," she whispered.
"Are you sure?" He asked as he pulled her into his embrace, her back pressed up against his chest.
"I am certain," she replied, trying to pretend she had no issues with him clinging to her with his bare skin underneath the sheets. It didn’t help that she could feel everything.
"Considering how you were clutching me and screaming my name, I’d like to think I was a very big help," he announced proudly.
"How does that equate to helping me sleep? And I wasn’t screaming."
"You weren’t?" Jael asked, his voice dropping down a notch. "Would you like me to prove to you that you were?"
He didn’t even finish his question before his hand moved to her chest and he lightly squeezed them through her silk nightdress. Mauve groaned despite herself.
"No, thank you," she said stubbornly and tried to pull away from his grasp but he held her steady as his other hand made quick work of her dress, pulling it up to caress her thighs.
