Chapter 166. Exhilarating.
Jael fought to keep control of himself as he constantly reminded himself that she was injured. There was no way he could do half the things on his mind. However, it was hard to remember that when she stared up at him like that.
He kept his arousal under control; he couldn’t get ahead of himself and he certainly couldn’t make her uncomfortable in any way. He still felt some guilt at her injured hand.
Unfortunately, there was no way he could keep his hands off her even if he wanted to, especially after she had looked at him like that during his bath.
At first, it had been a tease, he just couldn’t help stripping in front of her and then watching her get embarrassed on his behalf even though he was the naked one.
However, the longer she ogled him the more he wanted her to and he had gone overboard. Jael groaned against her neck. His decision has come back to bite him in the arse as he was terribly turned on but was trying to keep it under wraps.
He took a deep breath as his nose rested on her shoulders. He could never forget how good she smelt. He wanted to bite into her skin and drink to his fill but it was completely out of the question.
He made do with running his tongue across the side of her neck. She squirmed, her flushed neck called to him even more.
His hand on her chest slid down lower, over the dress, and all the way to her thighs. Her excited sound had more effect on him than he had anticipated.
He moved from the side of her neck to her lips. He could get over how soft they were. She kissed him back just as hard and ran her fingers through his hair.
