Zheng Fa slowly walked toward the place where Senior Sister Zhang was trapped.
Just as he reached three zhang away, she opened her eyes.
Neither of them spoke a word, as if they had an unspoken agreement.
Zheng Fa opened the Topology book in his hands and picked up where he had left off the previous day.
Sometimes, Senior Sister Zhang would interrupt with questions about things she didn’t quite understand.
Some questions were due to gaps in her knowledge, things she simply hadn’t encountered before. Those, Zheng Fa could answer with ease.
Others were questions that even Zheng Fa himself had never thought deeply about. Those would leave him momentarily speechless, his brows furrowing in thought.
Senior Sister Zhang never rushed him. She simply watched him quietly, a mysterious smile playing at her lips.
