Qin Muchuan looked at the big bag of stuff. "Are we not buying more school supplies?"
Lin Xiangwan shook her head. "Lots of people are donating school supplies. So, the orphanage never lacks these. Anyway, the leaders of the orphanage wouldn’t dare to embezzle pencils and paper!"
"Oh, I see!" Qin Muchuan only realized then how little of the money he had been giving to the orphanage had been actually used for the orphans.
"Do you know what the most annoying thing is?" Lin Xiangwan asked, while picking the snacks that the children would like.
Qin Muchuan shook his head. "Tell me!"
"It’s those businessmen, those bosses, they arrogantly donate large sums of money under the guise of charity. But there’s no supervision afterward and the money, along with nice clothes and such, end up being pocketed by the director and leaders of the orphanage!" Lin Xiangwan said angrily. "I really don’t know how these bosses manage things. If you are going to do charity work, do it well and sincerely!"
"Exactly!" Qin Muchuan felt embarrassed.
"I think they’re all fools!" Lin Xiangwan said aggressively.
