Lin Haoran stood in his room on the second floor, looking innocently at his mom and dad.
"Tell us, what good deed did you commit today?" Lin Xiangwan did not point out the mistake right away, instead, she wanted him to confess.
"I... I don’t know what I did wrong!" Lin Haoran shook his head.
"You dare say you don’t know what you did wrong?" Lin Xiangwan fumed.
"I really don’t know where I went wrong!" Lin Haoran was feeling extremely wronged.
If a child is not aware of his or her mistakes, it’s up to the parents to correct them. "You bullied every single girl in class, making each of them cry. Lin Haoran, as a boy, don’t you feel ashamed? You hurt so many kids, especially girls, don’t you feel bad?"
Lin Xiangwan was so angry, she didn’t know whether to emphasize on his act of hitting others or the fact that he hit girls!
Lin Haoran stubbornly replied, "I didn’t mean to hurt them. I just wanted the girls to like me, so I wrestled with them. But they all got hurt and none of them likes me!"
As he finished speaking, Lin Haoran lowered his head dejectedly.
He then looked up at his parents, confused. "Isn’t that what you guys told me? That I should wrestle with the one I like. Why didn’t it work out the way it should’ve?"
